Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter is Caravans & Motorhomes Pty Ltd trading as Jayco Newcastle, ABN 50 129 715 831, of 1 Camfield Drive, Heatherbrae NSW 2324 (“Promoter”).

2. Promotional period

The promotion opens at 8:30 am AEST on Thursday 1 October 2026 and closes at 4:00 pm AEDT on Saturday 31 October 2026 (“Promotional Period”).

3. Who can enter

Entry is open only to New South Wales residents aged 18 years or over who purchase a new or used caravan or RV from Jayco Newcastle during the Promotional Period.

Entrants must ordinarily reside in NSW when their sales contract is signed. Interstate residents are not eligible, including those who purchase or collect their caravan or RV at Jayco Newcastle.

Employees, directors and management of the Promoter, anyone involved in conducting the promotion or determining its winner, and their immediate family members are not eligible.

“Immediate family” means a spouse or de facto partner, parent, stepparent, child, stepchild, sibling, stepsibling, grandparent or grandchild.

4. Purchases included in the promotion

The promotion applies to the purchase of any new or used caravan, camper trailer, pop-top, campervan or motorhome directly from Jayco Newcastle where:

• The sales contract is signed during the Promotional Period.
• The required deposit is paid during the Promotional Period.
• The purchase proceeds to full payment, settlement and delivery.

Delivery does not need to occur during October to qualify for the draw.

Contracts signed before 1 October 2026 are excluded, even if a deposit, final payment or delivery occurs during October.

Parts, accessories, servicing, repairs, consignment sales, wholesale or trade-only transactions, and internal or staff purchases are excluded.

5. How to enter

Customers who meet these conditions automatically receive one entry for each new or used caravan or RV purchased during the Promotional Period. No separate entry form or additional entry fee is required.

A joint purchase receives one entry. The primary purchaser named on the sales contract is the entrant and must meet all entry requirements.

Customers who purchase more than one new or used caravan or RV during the Promotional Period receive one entry for each purchase.

6. Prize

There is one prize of AU$5,000. The total prize pool is AU$5,000.

The prize will be paid by electronic funds transfer to the verified winner’s nominated Australian bank account.

The $5,000 prize is payable only once the full purchase price for the winning caravan or RV has been received by Jayco Newcastle and the caravan or RV has been delivered and handed over to the winner.

The prize cannot be transferred to another person.

7. Draw

The electronic draw will take place at 10:00 am AEDT on Tuesday 3 November 2026 at Jayco Newcastle, 1 Camfield Drive, Heatherbrae NSW 2324.

One provisional winner will be selected by random draw from all valid entries. Each valid entry will have an equal chance of being selected.

Entrants do not need to attend the draw.

8. Verification and notification

The provisional winner will be contacted by phone and notified in writing by email within two business days of the draw, using the contact details recorded on their sales contract.

The Promoter may request reasonable evidence of the entrant’s identity, age, NSW residency and purchase before confirming the winner.

Entrants are responsible for ensuring their contact details are correct.

The verified winner’s name and NSW suburb will be published on the Jayco Newcastle website within seven days of verification and remain published for at least 28 days.

9. Full payment, delivery and prize payment

The winning purchase must proceed to full payment, settlement and delivery for the prize to be payable.

The prize becomes payable once:

• Jayco Newcastle has received the full purchase price for the winning caravan or RV; and
• The caravan or RV has been delivered and handed over to the winner.

If full payment and handover have already occurred when the winner is verified, the prize will be paid within 14 days of verification and receipt of valid bank details.

If full payment or handover is still pending when the winner is verified, the winner will retain their entitlement to the prize while awaiting the agreed handover date. The prize will be paid by electronic funds transfer within 14 days after full payment has been received, handover has occurred and valid bank details have been provided.

A purchase awaiting its agreed delivery or handover date will not be treated as cancelled or as an unclaimed prize solely because the caravan or RV has not yet been delivered.

If the winning purchase is cancelled, rescinded or otherwise does not proceed to full payment and delivery, the entry becomes invalid and a replacement winner will be selected by redraw.

Nothing in these conditions limits a purchaser’s statutory consumer rights.

10. Unclaimed prize and redraws

The Promoter will make reasonable attempts to contact the provisional winner.

The provisional winner must respond and provide the reasonably requested eligibility information by 10:00 am AEDT on Wednesday 3 February 2027.

If the provisional winner cannot be contacted, does not claim the prize by that deadline or cannot establish that they meet the entry requirements, an unclaimed prize redraw will take place at 10:00 am AEDT on Wednesday 3 February 2027 at the original draw location, subject to applicable law.

If a winning entry becomes invalid because the purchase does not proceed to full payment and delivery, a redraw will take place at 10:00 am AEDT on the tenth business day after the Promoter confirms the entry is invalid, at the original draw location.

Any redraw will be conducted randomly from the remaining valid entries. Replacement winners will be subject to the same verification, notification, publication and payment requirements.

A verified winner who has claimed the prize and is awaiting their agreed delivery or handover date is not subject to the unclaimed prize deadline solely because their caravan or RV has not yet been delivered.

11. Privacy

Personal information will be used to administer the promotion, verify entry requirements, contact the winner, arrange payment and meet applicable legal requirements.

By entering, entrants acknowledge that the verified winner’s name and NSW suburb will be published as described in these conditions.

Personal information will otherwise be handled in accordance with applicable privacy law and Jayco Newcastle’s Privacy Policy.

12. General

Fraudulent entries and entries that do not meet these conditions are invalid.

The Promoter will administer the promotion fairly and in accordance with these conditions and applicable law.

If circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control require changes to the promotion, any change, suspension or cancellation will occur only as permitted by law. Affected entrants will be notified, or the changes will be made publicly available, as appropriate.

Nothing in these conditions excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
