Jayco Newcastle’s top road-tripping songs for your caravanning adventure
There is so much planning to do before you set off on your caravanning road trip. By the time you have serviced your van, cleaned and packed and gone through your Jayco Newcastle preparing your van checklist, the stress levels could be at peak level.
So when you finally hit the road, you need to ensure you have a road-tripping playlist that not only gets you de-stressed for your journey but caters to all passengers in your vehicle keeping them from the boredom blues.
Music is such a personal choice but we’d thought we would share some of Jayco Newcastle’s team favourite road-tripping songs for your caravanning pleasure. We’ve even created a Spotify playlist so you don’t have to go searching for these songs.
We have to kick it off with a blast from the past with Caravan of Love by the Housemartins. A cover of a relatively minor US hit by one half of the Isley Brothers after that group had split in two. The Housemartins produced it in a Capella arrangement that reached number 1 in December 1986. Back in the 1980’s, ‘Caravan of Love’ was a plea for people to take care of one another but, like all great songs, it contains a message which still resonates today….
