Picture yourself strolling along pristine sandy shores, with the rhythmic sound of crashing waves and the gentle caress of a coastal breeze. Nestled in a secluded pocket of New South Wales around 30 minutes from Coffs Harbour, NRMA Darlington Beach offers an idyllic retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
We had some of our Jayco Newcastle crew joining us from the Friday but we got away mid afternoon on the Thursday to get an extra night away.
Check out Joe’s County playlist on Spotify, some country bangers for the drive up, we were arriving just after 6 so called ahead and the park guys had us all set for a late check in.
We decided to head into Woolgoolga for a date night and found an awesome little place for dinner with live music to boot!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND: Anchor Bar and Restaurant. Great food and some tasty cocktails!
Friday morning we took a drive into Woolgoolga for a coffee and a look around the shops. We found the surf club had a great iced coffee and an awesome little view of the beach.
Back to the park for the arrival of the rest of our crew.
We had a great cook up, highly recommend the slide out kitchen option on your Jayco caravan if you love cooking without worrying about taking a BBQ away with you.
Saturday morning we checked out what the park has to offer, jumping pillow, huge water park, 2 pools and heated spa, golf course, archery, frisbee golf and even a bear grills adventure!
Saturday night the park used their huge outdoor screen for a kids movie night, The Grinch CLASSIC! We had planned on heading out for dinner but the park offers a great dine in or take away, cafe style menu.
Sunday morning bacon and eggs on our slide out kitchen before we all set off for a little beach fish, managed a couple of little bream before it was time to head back to camp to pack up our Jayco Silverline and head home.
