Our Customer Appreciation Weekends embody the essence of the RV lifestyle, offering our customers an opportunity to forge connections with like-minded individuals, foster new friendships, and explore the unique features of the various Jayco models.
Last weekend, we had the pleasure of hosting our 35th Customer Appreciation Weekend at BIG4 Karuah Jetty Holiday Park. This annual tradition, which commenced in 2016 (except for 2020), continues to be a beloved event for both our customers and team members. This year, we secured 50 powered sites at the park, where our enthusiastic staff members, totaling seven, also joined in the festivities.
BIG4 Karuah Jetty Holiday Park is strategically nestled near Newcastle, NSW, offering an ideal escape from the city bustle. Positioned just approximately 60 kilometers north of Newcastle, this picturesque holiday park provides a convenient and serene retreat along the beautiful Karuah River.
Despite a breezy yet sunny weather backdrop, our guests reveled in the outstanding amenities offered by BIG4 Karuah. From engaging playgrounds and sports courts to an outdoor workout area and a sprawling 20-meter jumping pillow, the options were abundant. Notably, the resort-style splash waterplay area and the availability of pedal go-karts and bicycles for hire contributed to the enjoyment. The games room, boasting arcade games, a foosball table, and a TV, added another layer of entertainment.
A standout day was Saturday, graced with clear skies. Our gathering outside the camp kitchen was abuzz with lawn games and an exciting round of trivia, claimed victoriously by “the Macca’s.” Special recognition goes to our Ambassador Blanchy for orchestrating the trivia competition.
As the day rolled on, a delicious BBQ unfolded, featuring the culinary talents of Karuah Quality Meats. Heartfelt gratitude goes to the local Lions Club of Raymond Terrace who expertly managed the BBQ arrangements. Ambiance was provided by Andy, whose guitar melodies serenaded the crowd.
Our sincere appreciation extends to BIG4 Karuah for hosting this exceptional weekend. Undoubtedly, it marked yet another triumph in our series of memorable getaways. Anticipation is building for our next adventure, set to take place at Norah Head Holiday Park in November.
